Took a few images last night with fellow photog Amber Schneider.  She was gracious enough to model for a few.  The last image, which appears to look like it was shot in the middle of the afternoon, was actually taken about 40 minutes after sunset when it was quite dark outside.

So, Susan wanted a few quick images for a before and after set of prints.  Not to be out done by their soon to be younger sibling, the two older sisters jump right into the action.

This series was taken for a Valentine’s gift so we had to wait to post until Feb 14 came and went.  And then another month just flew by.  The images were taken in our new expanded studio which includes a more intimate shooting environment.  Thank you Raimey for allowing us to post images from your shoot.

While at WPPI convention last week in Las Vegas we had the opportunity to do a little night shooting with Alicia at Shoot with Beckstead.  An accomplished photographer herself, Alicia decided to try the other side of the lens.  We think she has a gift for that side of the lens as well.

It has been a few years since I had the opportunity to photograph Deventrya for a layout in Valley Bridal Magazine.  So, just before she heads back to Los Angeles she calls looking for a portfolio update.  Always a classy lady with a classy look.

We met with Jennifer yesterday to discuss an upcoming project.  Couldn’t pass the opportunity to grab a few frames.

Sara Scheidt dropped by the studio a couple of days ago.  Hard to believe she used to be a military cop!

This past weekend we hosted a workshop for a group of photographers.  They each brought in images for critique of lighting and composition.  The images ran the gamut from still life to capturing people in motion.  So after exchanging opinions on what everyone liked and/or thought could be improved, they all pulled out their weapon of choice (that would be a camera and lens) and practiced what they had just learned with our gorgeous model, Kristianna.  When it was all over I had a chance to grab a few images of my own.  Had a ton of fun…looking forward to doing another workshop soon.
