About a month ago Ronda was diagnosed with cancer.  She wanted to tell the world she intended to fight this disease and ultimately prevail.  The following six images, entitled “Cancer, a Family Affair” portray that story from start to envisioned finish; beginning the fight, the hard middle with unbelievable support, victory and reflection.

Last week we conducted a photography workshop where participants worked on improving their ability to locate good light in crappy situations.  So, just past high noon we moved out into the harsh sunlight of an open field with some nearby trees and horse stables.  This is a bit of what came from that day.

It’s been a while since I have done a model shoot, but I couldn’t resist the opportunity to shoot in a haunted castle. Thanks to Kaley for enduring the six hour drive plus working all day.
