As the summer heat continues to hang on, it’s not always easy to convince these little ones to run and play outside…especially with someone following them around with a camera! But this little beauty found plenty to explore as we made our way around the park. Thanks to mom and dad who helped keep her smiling, jumping and running throughout the shoot!
One of my favorite spots to photograph kids isn’t actually just one spot at all. It’s simply outdoors. Anywhere they can feel free to just enjoy the surroundings and do a little exploring. For this adorable brother and sister, we found just the place for them. We had a great time running, playing and just hanging out. And I, of course, took just a few images in between the fun. And yes, these two really are THAT cute!
It’s hard to believe that this little guy is now 4 months old! He’s a bundle of sweetness and was such a trooper as we made our way through the studio (and some super secret locations!) to get some great shots of him. As you see, we even got mom and dad in on the action…well, maybe just a little! But check out that last shot, as he’s telling me very clearly that it’s time to wrap up this modeling gig and save up his energy for the 8 month shoot!
Quinn’s 6 month photo shoot was all about cuteness! From the cherub face to the beautiful strawberry blonde hair, it was easy to capture the beauty of this sweet girl.
She smiled like a pro so…

A typical rite of passage for a 1st birthday party is the devouring of the cake by the guest of honor. But as we see in this sequence from Ella’s 1st birthday, it’s not always the case that our little ones find that appetizing.
She may not have eaten much of it, but the cake soon became an art project…
and then made its way over the side of her chair.
After a quick picture with mom and dad, she cleaned herself off (okay, mom did it) and was back to making the rounds at her party!

Had a wonderful time with Jacoby in Woodward Park during his portrait session! We’ve had the opportunity to follow him from the time he was 3 months old and to think he’s celebrating his 3rd birthday! He has such a fun personality and was completely at ease hanging out for these shots.
