Sometimes you just run into folks who are a bit adventurous. Kimberly and Braden still haven't decided on a venue for their wedding, but at last discussion it looks like it will be in Belize. Always, thinking of trying something different these two were determined to offer up something new to shoot. Well, as one gentleman who was casually observing the shoot said afterwards, "It looks like they are practicing taking the plunge." And yes, the water was still quite cold.

May 1, 2012Ashley & Erik wanted a spring engagement session to go along with their November wedding at Belmont CC. At first we were looking at something in the mountains as all the flowers came out, but a late winter just gave us dirty snow. So we headed over to Ashley's grandparents out toward the foothills and had a great time in a rustic country environment. These two were clearly meant for each other. Can't wait until November!

March 29, 2012Kaylee and Nate are one of our June couples. They had a specific, kind of rustic feeling, venue in mind for their engagement shoot they believed would be perfect. So, we all hopped in the car and headed out for a fun afternoon at a great location with great light. This place was a perfect fit for their personalities. Thanks guys for a great day!

Georgia & Jason | At The Theater
September 13, 2011Georgia and Jason met while working at a movie theater. We couldn't find an accommodating theater while in San Francisco doing their engagement session (see separate blog post), so we finished up with a few quick shots here in Fresno. We were very thankful to have 10 minutes squeezed in between a maintenance crew and delivery of stage equipment for the evening performance.

September 2, 2011Okay, you can tell from these images that Ashley & Trevor were just meant to be together. Ashley, who currently lives in Texas, flew into Fresno for their engagement party and photo shoot. We had a great time sipping a little wine in Friant followed by a little splashing around at Millerton. Their wedding will be at The Grand in June '12. Can't wait!

August 25, 2011Another trip to San Francisco....another great day! We started out at the Palace of Fine Arts, made our way down to the bay and ended up at the Embarcadero. Georgia & Jason were just a blast...when they broke out the bike we were all reminded of that scene in Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid. Can't wait for their wedding in a couple of months!
Jordan & Rick | Engaged
August 18, 2011We recently headed to Carmel for Jordan & Rick's engagement session. As you can see from the images, these two have truly found their connection. We had a blast sharing the day with them and can't wait for their October wedding at Fig Garden Swim & Racquet Club. The day started with a quick brunch at Mission Ranch Hotel in Carmel before heading to the beach. While climbing around on the rocks recreating the proposal we were happy to see the ring didn't end up in the drink! Then it was off to Lover's Point in Monterey where we discovered a little family competition....Jordan is a big time Giants fan; Rick likes the Dodgers. But they settled their rivalry with a friendly golf competition to end the day. Congrats to you both....looking forward to October!
