Cortney has worked in the wedding industry for some time. And now it’s her turn as she and Chad tied the knot yesterday in a beautiful (and playful) ceremony at First Congressional Church followed by a reception at Château Bleu Estate. Congratulations to the two of you.1 Comment »
As the summer heat continues to hang on, it’s not always easy to convince these little ones to run and play outside…especially with someone following them around with a camera! But this little beauty found plenty to explore as we made our way around the park. Thanks to mom and dad who helped keep her smiling, jumping and running throughout the shoot!
So, things were a little different this past weekend for Megan & Kyle’s wedding…at least from a photographic point of view. It started with the early morning bridal prep photographed by Tina Quillen (Quillen Photography and mother of the groom). Then photography duties passed to Sandie Huber (Huber Photography and the groom’s aunt) for family portraits and bridal party shots. As Tina and Sandie went to get ready to be “guests” at the ceremony and reception the night crew arrived represented by myself and Michelle Ricci-Koch from Michele Michaels Photography (Sandie’s good friend). It was a very fun evening, and as always Copper River provided a great venue for Megan & Kyle to kick off their new life together. Congrats to the both of you.Comments Off
Another great day at Copper River CC, but this time with a little Persian flair. It had been almost a year since we did Camelia and Brett’s engagement shoot in San Francisco, an epic day in itself. As the story goes Brett knew Camelia was the “one” the moment they first met. It appears he was correct. It also looks Brett has aspirations to be a choreographer. Check out the dance routine he put together for his new bride. Camelia and Brett, thanks for inviting us to be a part of your day.2 Comments »
It was another great day for a wedding. We looked forward to this day since we did Ashley and Trevor’s engagement session last summer. And they didn’t disappoint, the party went on and on and on. And to culminate the day we headed into the bowels of the building for a little different “wedding” look.Comments Off
One of my favorite spots to photograph kids isn’t actually just one spot at all. It’s simply outdoors. Anywhere they can feel free to just enjoy the surroundings and do a little exploring. For this adorable brother and sister, we found just the place for them. We had a great time running, playing and just hanging out. And I, of course, took just a few images in between the fun. And yes, these two really are THAT cute!
This past weekend a few local photographers joined me for a little shooting time in the studio. And because photographers for the most part are not good subjects, joining us on the other side of the camera was the very lovely Kaley Monteleone, with some special facial artwork by makeup artist Emily Johnson. Enjoy!
