Barb and I just returned from a much needed vacation. This time we were off to Alaska, traveling from Denali to Whittier and Seward. We were fortunate enough to join the Denali 30% club with several clear days (supposedly about 70% of visitors never get to see Mt McKinley due to weather). In general the stars aligned throughout the whole trip. Along the way we were able to get a few images to share. Enjoy.3 Comments »
I have been looking forward to this wedding since I had the opportunity to shoot their engagement session some months back. After prepping at their respective locations Kimberly and Chris moved to The Grand on 10 for their ceremony and reception. The whole day was characterized by good friends and big smiles. Congrats to you both.5 Comments »
Last week we conducted a photography workshop where participants worked on improving their ability to locate good light in crappy situations. So, just past high noon we moved out into the harsh sunlight of an open field with some nearby trees and horse stables. This is a bit of what came from that day.
Eilene and Grant, now residing in Portland, were home for the holidays. Not sure they would make it back to Fresno before their 2014 wedding, we decided it would be a good idea to shoot their engagement session now. They wanted something in the hills and near water so we braved the cold and icy rocks (Amber almost fell into the stream). But as you can see all was good and we had a great time.Comments Off
