Yosemite Landscapes
March 6, 2017
Yosemite has many iconic locations for landscape photography. And the image opportunities from any particular location change not only with the season but also with the weather of the day. This particular 2 day period was beautiful, cold and clear, a small gap in the storms that have been plentiful this winter.

Kacy & Brandon | Married
December 17, 2016It is only fitting that my last wedding of the year is for an old friend and her really great guy. Many of you know Kacy from Madeleine’s Bridal, but now meet Brandon. The two finally tied the knot on a beautiful afternoon at the Lakeview venue of Wolf Lakes. It was great sharing the day with friends new and old. Congrats to Kacy & Brandon.

Brittany & Nick
October 24, 2016It’s been awhile since I posted a wedding, but this was my second time having Brittany in front of the camera. I photographed her a couple of years ago as the maid of honor at her sister’s wedding. A couple of weeks ago the two sisters switched positions as Brittany married Nick. Congratulations to Brittany & Nick.

Venice
June 26, 2016A few weeks back Barb and I traveled to Italy with friends Jim and Paula. While there we met new friends Carol and Kevin from Florida. We spent almost two weeks traveling mid to northern Italy. To try and make some sense of the all images I captured I decided to make separate posts for each general location we visited. This first series was our last stop in Venice. The center of Venice where most tourists congregate is very commercial as well as very crowded once the cruise ships disembark their guests around 10 am each morning. Early morning is the best time to enjoy the solitude of the city. And like most tourist attractions if you find where the locals live and hang out it can be quite an experience. Venice is truly a beautiful city. Going back for sure.

Ronda
December 19, 2015About a month ago Ronda was diagnosed with cancer. She wanted to tell the world she intended to fight this disease and ultimately prevail. The following six images, entitled “Cancer, a Family Affair” portray that story from start to envisioned finish; beginning the fight, the hard middle with unbelievable support, victory and reflection.
