Unlike many whose interest in photography began by photographing their children, and whose desire to be a “pro” came from their “passion” for taking pictures of friends and family, I was intrigued by the management of light and its effect on enhancing a moment of emotion or creating a moment of intrigue.

I believe having an eye for the “moment” to be the price of entry for a professional photographer, not the end all.  To get the most of any moment requires more than choosing composition and pressing a button.  A photographer must see how available light will enhance a moment, or be able to competently bring artificial light to create a moment of intrigue.

I enjoy photographing people who are demonstrative in their joy to be alive, who are interested in creating something a bit unique.  So, rather than fill this space with a bunch of fluffy words about why I like doing what I do I would prefer to meet you in person.  I invite you to come to our full service studio in Old Town Clovis.  We can sit down and chat over some coffee and get to know each other.  I look forward to seeing you.
