A few weeks back Barb and I traveled to Italy with friends Jim and Paula. While there we met new friends Carol and Kevin from Florida. We spent almost two weeks traveling mid to northern Italy. To try and make some sense of the all images I captured I decided to make separate posts for each general location we visited. This first series was our last stop in Venice. The center of Venice where most tourists congregate is very commercial as well as very crowded once the cruise ships disembark their guests around 10 am each morning. Early morning is the best time to enjoy the solitude of the city. And like most tourist attractions if you find where the locals live and hang out it can be quite an experience. Venice is truly a beautiful city. Going back for sure.
