Last week we had the opportunity to shoot Camelia & Brett’s engagement session on a beautiful sunny day in San Francisco.  We moved from the financial district to the beach and back, ending the evening with a great dinner at Morton’s.  These two are soooo much fun!  Can’t wait for the wedding.

Ok, so we were checking out a venue for an upcoming workshop on location lighting with small flash.  Helping us out was Jennifer and her husband Brandon.  Had a great time and scored a few fun images to boot.

We met with Jennifer yesterday to discuss an upcoming project.  Couldn’t pass the opportunity to grab a few frames.

So Lauren decided to do senior pictures concurrent with her graduation from Buchanan HS.  Actually her mother (a professional photographer) wanted to shoot her senior pics….well, we can all guess how that discussion went!  Anyway, we had a great time with her last week.  Here are a few from the shoot.

So, yesterday during a commercial shoot this guy rides by on a bike.  Don’t know what caught the ladies attention, but I loved the reaction.

Sara Scheidt dropped by the studio a couple of days ago.  Hard to believe she used to be a military cop!

This past weekend we hosted a workshop for a group of photographers.  They each brought in images for critique of lighting and composition.  The images ran the gamut from still life to capturing people in motion.  So after exchanging opinions on what everyone liked and/or thought could be improved, they all pulled out their weapon of choice (that would be a camera and lens) and practiced what they had just learned with our gorgeous model, Kristianna.  When it was all over I had a chance to grab a few images of my own.  Had a ton of fun…looking forward to doing another workshop soon.
